Question:How did they expect little kids to figure these out?

Answer: I missed the Bridge exit the led to Soda Lake as a kid, and I think I missed the forest exit that brought me to the fortress, but I beat the Star World. In the end Soda Lake was a missed exit for me, and I might have missed one of the exits for the weird Chocolate Island exit that varies depending on time remaining, coins collected, etc. In fact that's one I still usually look up if I go back and play it.

Answer: Because back then, kids spent lots of time playing and replaying the same few games over and over. We didn't have this instant gratification ADHD compelling us to find everything in a game the first time through within 20 minutes before moving onto the next game. Turns out, when all you have to play is Super Mario World every day for a couple months you start trying out different things and stumble upon all the secrets eventually.

Answer: It's funny how alien and unfamiliar the concept of friends sharing video game secrets with each other is to zoomers. Either my brother or one of my friends found that out, showed me, and I showed others. Same thing with the whistle secrets in Mario 3.

Answer: jump behind the end goal. Jump? You mean using the cape. You're talking about the secret exit to Soda Lake right?

Answer: This is true, to an extent. Getting a new console or game would guarantee neighbor kids and schoolmates would fight to go to your house and be your friends. Nowadays the best a kid can get is a smart phone, and that's not even something special, it's expected.

Answer: Did anyone respond to it or did they just call OP a seething tranny dilater then go back to creaming their pants over a Super Smash Bros. character you need to buy in a season pass or something?

Answer: This. These games needed to last a LONG, LONG time back then. Now they're just kind of disposable entertainment. $60 then vs $60 now.

Answer: My friend got a Super Nintendo for his birthday, and it came with a "sign up for Nintendo Power" subscription card that showed how to get the Top Secret Area as a tip you might find in the magazine. The fools just gave us what we wanted without paying.

Answer: Everyone needs their own system and room to play now. Me and the wife used to play quite a bit of multiplayer on separate PC's for years. As of late with a 4 year old showing interest we have been playing couch co op on everdrives , steam and a soft modded wii. Honestly some multiplayer games were a rush but they usually had plenty of lows to go with the highs, but the couch co op is just f**king fun

Answer: Everyone needs their own system and room to play now. I'm not sure about these symptoms of a potentially greater problem, if things could possibly be the way they were or if they should. I sorta hate growing up and seeing things change without options and choices. I really hope couch co op and splitscreen makes a resurgence and comes to roost on pc, that stuff was epic back in the hay day. Games should come with a white friend, a black friend, and an asian or latino friend with every purchase. They only come with half of yourself nowadays.

Answer: it requires a different mindset, the notion that there might be more could be enthralling to some, but then there's the actuality is there in fact something to work toward or discover

Answer: I dont even know what you're talking about, but I 100% everything on the GBA port when I was about 10. So, unless they removed it, it cant be that hard.
